The cost for this route will vary: a special rate for seniors, students and people with reduced mobility that will cost 79 pesos; local passengers who show with their INE credential that they are residents of the state, 99 pesos; national tourist, 148 pesos in tourist class and 236 in premier class, and international tourists who will pay 197 and 315 pesos, respectively, in tourist or premier class.
He reported that in 70 days of train operation, 65 thousand people have been mobilized in 345 trips. The Campeche to Cancun route is the most popular with 62.70 percent of passengers, 24 percent have traveled from Campeche-Palenque and 4.11 percent make the complete route from Cancun to Palenque.
