AMLO will invest in a vehicle bridge in Cancun and an ecological park in Tulum

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed that he is going to invest 10 billion pesos (MXN) to rehabilitate the main road in Cancún and build a vehicular bridge in the same area. He also mentioned the creation of the 300-hectare "El Jaguar" ecological park in Tulum. VEHICULAR BRIDGE In the morning conference it was said that the road works will be financed by the Federation and in exchange, the State Government is donating some land that it owns that are in the vicinity of the archaeological zone of Tulum, land that will be used to create the new park.
"This avenue was abandoned, there is a serious road problem at the end of the hotel zone and we are thinking of building a modern bridge without affecting the environment to give it an outlet and to avoid these traffic jams, which are already unbearable." "How are we going to finance it? The state government is going to contribute, basically some land in Tulum. In Tulum there is also growth that we want to order and we want to protect the area where two archaeological zones are located so that they are not invaded and that they have spaces so that they can be visited. - AMLO
ECOLOGICAL PARK
The land provided by the State Government has a value of 2.5 billion pesos (MXN) and will be used to build "Parque El Jaguar" which will be for walking and cycling. As an extra, the president said that another 2,000-hectare park will be built in Calkiní. And the road works in Cancun will include the installation of hydraulic concrete, rehabilitation of the drainage system and drinking water.
